Lockheed Martin Space Systems Co., Sunnyvale, California, is being awarded a $92,800,000 modification to the previously awarded Mobile User Objective System (MUOS) cost-plus-award-fee contract (N00039-04-C-2009) for engineering services, interim logistics services, spares, and associated material.  MUOS is a narrowband military satellite communications system that supports a worldwide, multi-service population of users, providing modern netcentric communications capabilities while supporting legacy terminals.  Work will be performed in Scottsdale, Arizona (90 percent) and Sunnyvale, California (10 percent); and is expected to be completed by November 2018.  No funds will be obligated at the time of award.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  Efforts will be incrementally funded with weapons procurement (Navy); research, development, test and evaluation; and operations and maintenance (Navy) funds.  This contract was not competitively procured, but a sole source acquisition pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S. Code 2304(c)(1) only one responsible source (Federal Acquisition Regulation  6.302-1).  The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, San Diego, California, is the contracting activity. 

Motorola Solutions Inc., Columbia, Maryland, is being awarded $20,459,980 under a previously awarded fixed-price contract (N39430-16-C-1812) to exercise the first option period for lifecycle sustainment of the Naval Facilities Engineering Command Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection Ashore Program Enterprise Land and Mobile Radio system at various Navy installations worldwide.  The work to be performed provides for preventive maintenance of hardware and software; response and resolution of service calls for corrective maintenance to include equipment repair, overhaul, or replacement; asset and configuration management; password management; and software upgrade installation.  After award of this option, the total cumulative contract value will be $41,080,268.  Work will be performed at various Navy installations worldwide, and work for this option period is expected to be completed December 2017.  Fiscal 2017 operations and maintenance (Navy) contract funds in the amount of $20,459,980 are obligated on this award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center, Port Hueneme, California, is the contracting activity.

Swiftships LLC, Morgan City, Louisiana, is being awarded a $14,591,075 firm-fixed-price modification to a previously awarded contract (N00024-14-C-4217) for the accomplishment of continuous lifecycle support for the Iraqi Navy. The contractor will provide technical expertise in preventative and planned maintenance, emergent repairs, and platform overhaul support services for Iraqi patrol boats, off-shore vessels, and defender boats.  Work will be performed on Umm Qasr Naval Base, Iraq, and is expected to be completed by March 2017.  Foreign military financing funding in the amount of $14,591,075 will be obligated at time of award.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, District of Columbia, is the contracting activity.

Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., Military Aircraft Systems, Melbourne, Florida, is being awarded $14,375,411 for firm-fixed-price modification P00032 to a previously awarded fixed-price-incentive-firm target contract (N00019-13-C-9999) for spares and support equipment for the E-2D Advanced Hawkeye aircraft configured for the Government of Japan.  Work will be performed in Indianapolis, Indiana (26.2 percent); Melbourne, Florida (24.1 percent); Liverpool, New York  (21.2 percent); Bethpage, New York (16.3 percent); Rockford, Illinois (1.6 percent); Chatsworth, California (1 percent) and various locations within the continental U. S. (9.6 percent); and is expected to be completed in April 2019.  Foreign military sales funds in the amount of $14,375,411 are being obligated at time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

AMI Industries Inc., Colorado Springs, Colorado, is being awarded $8,639,556 for modification P00004 to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-15-C-0035) to exercise an option for the production of 16 E-6B Aircrew Mission Seats, production shipsets. Work will be performed in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and is expected to be completed in April 2018.  Fiscal 2016 aircraft procurement (Navy) funds in the amount $8,639,556 will be obligated at time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
