Huntington Ingalls Inc., Newport News, Virginia, is being awarded a $109,917,238 cost-plus-fixed-fee modification to previously awarded contract N00024-15-C-2105 to exercise options for engineering, technical, and design services; configuration management; integrated logistics Support; database management; research and development; modernization; and industrial support for nuclear submarines.  This contract will also support special mission submersible interfaces and submarine support facilities.  Work will be performed in Newport News, Virginia, and is expected to be completed by September 2018.  Fiscal 2016 other procurement (Navy); and fiscal 2014 shipbuilding and conversion (Navy) funding in the amount of $7,420,958 will be obligated at the time of award and funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, District of Columbia, is the contracting activity.


Milpower Inc., Nampa, Idaho, is being awarded a $29,541,187 indefinite-delivery/indefinite- quantity, firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed-fee line item contract for the production of 100 watt and 200 watt power amplifiers, and engineering services.  The power amplifiers are used by the Digital Modular Radio program to meet Mobile User Objective System fleet modernization and Shipbuilding and Conversion, Navy requirements.  This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to an estimated $66,127,472.  Work will be performed in San Diego, California, and is expected to be completed by September 2021. If all options are exercised, work could continue until September 2026.  Fiscal 2015 and 2016 shipbuilding and conversion (Navy) funds in the amount of $7,079,512 will be placed on contract and obligated at the time of award.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with proposals solicited via the Commerce Business Daily’s Federal Business Opportunities website and the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command e-Commerce Central website, with three offers received.  The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, San Diego, California, is the contracting activity (N00039-16-D-0078).
